crazycruzer68 Posted January 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) We are going to Aruba in September and we are thinking about renting a room for the night to ensure we get to be there for the day. Can someone tell me how far the port it is and what is the best form of transportation get there. There are 8 women traveling. Hatteras51 Posted January 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2019 You can walk or take two taxis. It would probably take you 20 minutes or so to walk there.

Hatteras51 Posted January 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2019 Yes. I have a timeshare at Renaissance. They have two properties. Mine is at the Ocean Suites, which is on the waterfront. You will probably make a reservation at the Marina Hotel, which is on the main street, downtown. It should be much cheaper for the stay. Part of your walking time includes the time it will take you to get out of the port. Depending on where you dock, it could be a little longer, but when you get out of the port, it will be just a few blocks down the road. Turn to your right when you exit the port. The Marina Hotel is a few blocks down, on the left.
