Lisbon Area Recommendation: Airport/City Center/Fatima

Recommended Posts

Our schedule is as follow:

Monday:  Fly into Lisbon from Madrid at 12:30 PM

Tuesday:  Fatima

Wednesday:  Flight to USA at 10:05 AM

Our main purpose of the visit is to take our Mom to visit Fatima.  Based on my research, I found out the bus to Fatima departs from Sete Rios Railway (I hope this is also the bus station).  Since we are in Lisbon, we thought we can visit the city center on Monday.

Logistically, would staying at an airport hotel be ok?    Open to any suggestions!

TIA!

Hi

given your short time available consider a tuk-tuk tour of the high points in Lisbon. It a nice VW van like vehicle with canvas top, open air. Your driver/guide and max 4 people. Most companies have a set 1, 2 or 2+ hour tour of many major spots in the core area of Lisbon - you'll see a lot in a short time. The guides are terrific, many are multi-lingual and they usually start near central Lisbon hotels of Rossio Square. Additionally it cuts out a lot of unnecessary walking for your Mom or yourselves. Do some research on line. All of the companies are very good.
