SHANGHAI Disney

We shall be visiting Shanghai with HA next month, which includes an overnight stay at the port. 

My husband and I are “big” kids and are keen to visit Shanghai Disney (preferably on the day that we arrive into Shanghai, 20 March, 8 a.m.) and looking for information/recommendations on the best way to do this.  Disney is not included on the ship’s excursions. 

Happy to spend the night off the ship, maybe do the Zhujiajiao Water Water Town on the way back to the ship (Tuesday 21 March, sailing at 6 p.m.).

Open to any suggestions, advice, etc.

I'm not sure how much research you've done but these two sites have been very helpful to us. The TDR site focuses on Tokyo, but has resources for Shanghai as well.

I fully understand the desire to visit a Disney resort while in Asia, we are annual passholders at WDW! We will be staying at Tokyo DisneySea next month at the conclusion of our Celebrirty cruise.

We were staying in Shanghai last year and took the train from city center to Disney. We had to switch trains once but the stop for Disney puts you right at the park. Very easy to do.
