I know this is a guessing game but what is weather on QM2 during late April?  Is it warm enough for shorts or too cold.

I presume you are talking about a tran Atlantic crossing, The weather at sea can be variable. This is true even in the summer. I think you may bring shorts, but also long pants. That way you will be prepared.

It will be windy and the sea temps will be on the cool side so if you plan to stroll round the promenade deck you'll probably want more than shorts however if you do get some sun and find a sheltered spot in it shorts will be fine.

I know a lot of people regard the QM2 as very exclusive, but I don't think it's got its own climate !

On the North Atlantic in April it’s almost anything goes as far as weather is concerned-except maybe for violent storms, but the way the weather out of Canada is behaving -prepare to dress warmly if you’re going to be on the outer decks.  If there is really ugly stuff up north or- as happened last year there was ice more southerly than usual - the Captain may take your farther to the south and it can be lovely on deck. Enjoy!

i am shocked.........you mean if i call down to jeeves and order better weather he cannot do so ..........say it aint so
