Booking a Balcony Guarantee...or Trying to!

I just checked the Carnival website for pricing on a balcony guarantee aboard the Conquest. There are NO balcony guarantee cabins available between April 1 of this year and the end of January 2007. :eek: What is up with that? :confused:

There are only a limited amount of guarantees for each sailing. If looking for April-- they could be gone .

Have you tried calling carnival directly?

No, I haven't called my PVP yet. Won't have the deposit $$ for another couple of weeks. :rolleyes:

 

But, I am not just looking at April sailings. According th the website, there are no balcony guarantees available even as far away as NEXT January, a whole year away! :confused:

I checked it out for a few weeks in June and July and saw guarantee cabins available. Where are you looking>

I found balcony guarantees available when I checked a couple of weeks ago. But there are none showing as available now. Looking on the Carnival website, Conquest sailings only.

I was booking mine on Jan 10 for the sailing of 9/17/06 but when I spoke to my personal cruise planner (I'm a past cruiser) she said I could get the lowest priced balcony for $20 cheaper plus a two category upgrade so thats what I went for and have even chosen my cabin. Wish you luck.

I booked my cruise about 300 days early. There were no guarantees showing. When I called Carnival and was inquiring about finding a good deal he suggested the guarantee. So, even though it was not available on line, I could do it over the phone.

Thanks for the reassuring responses! I'm counting the days until I can call my PVP to book; now my hope of booking a balcony guarantee is restored. Y'all are great! :D

When I had to rebook my cruise back in September for my December cruise from the Elation to the Conquest, the Website did not show any GTY Balcony cabins, but I talked to my TA and she said that she could book one for me.

 

If you have a good PVP or TA, they will do what they can to help you out.
