Grand scenic room- should I switch?

We’ve gone back and forth about whether  to switch to a balcony since we booked the grand scenic ocean view. Looks like they now cost about the same. As much as we’re excited to try something different I always enjoy spending some  time on the balcony. It’s only a four night cruise.

final payment is this week- so I guess it’s time to decide.

What do you think?

I would choose the Grand Scenic.  However, if you're sensitive to motion, it may not be for you.  Given that the rooms are on the front of the ship, they experience more motion than a balcony cabin that may be mid-ship.

Assuming that motion isn't an issue, I'd take to Grand Scenic.  You get unique views from those rooms that you don't normally experience on a cruise.

We just had one on our Panama Canal cruise and the views were spectacular....especially, when transiting the Canal itself.

We also have been looking at this, how ironic.  Was checking prices on all of our future cruises and saw where the balcony price was equivalent to what we were paying for scenic view.  Since we definitely won't receive any price drops on the scenic view went back and forth about changing.  But decided we have never gotten one of the scenic view rooms and were really lucky to snag one when we did.  I think we will stay where we are and experience this type of room for the first time and check the box. 😀

Thank you all for your relplies..... helps me to stop second guessing myself!

I second your decision to keep this cabin.  I had one on the Valor and it was awesome.  My daughter and I will be sailing together in this cabin on the Glory in 2 months.  I am very excited!  I sort of pushed my daughter into this cruise so I could have this cabin again.  It is awesome!
