Curaçao Sea Aquarium

Has anyone been here? We are doing a city and caves tour in the late morning, but our cruise ship is in port late so we have lots of extra time after. How close is it to the port? Is it worth going to?

 

We are looking for something to do to fill up some more time. I feel like I should see more since we are there so long and this may be our only chance to visit.

 

We have a 9 and 11 year old and will be doing beach activities in 3 out of 4 ports so weren't planning to hit the beach here, but maybe you can convince us otherwise if its can't miss. :-)

The aquarium is a nice visit especially  for kids of those ages.  The caveat may be dependent on aquariums they may have visited In the past. If you have experienced some of the larger ones in the states it may be a bit underwhelming. 

There is a sea lion and a dolphin show which are fun. There are some hands on displays. Overall, a nice place to spend the afternoon.
