Yokohama, Japan with a Toddler

I was hoping you kind people could give me some suggestions.

 

We have a large layover after getting off our cruise at Yokohama at 9am and flying out 10pm that night.

 

We are traveling with a 6 year old so I was thinking of getting a room at hotel with pool…a little playtime and rest before a long haul flight. Only issue is im not really sure if grabbing a hotel at Yokohama, Tokyo or the near Haneda would be best.

 

Any thoughts? Suggestions.

Yokohama or Haneda whichever is more reasonable.  If similar price I would go for Haneda just for knowing you are physically as close to your departure airport as possible.   I wouldn't bother going into Tokyo.

If you were flying from Narita I could give you several recommendations but never flown in or out of Haneda.
