Kayak Excursion in St. Thomas

I asked this question in the Port of Call location but I figured I'd ask here also in case this forum gets more foot traffic.

 

Has anyone done or have an opinion on the kayak, hike, snorkel trip offered on RC site but done with Third party while in St. Thomas. Thank you. Last time we were in St. Thomas we did the tour of the island so looking for something different this time.

Did this last time I was in St. Thomas through Virgin Island Ecotours. Did NOT book through the ship. We had a wonderful time and a small group (I think it was 11 total, of which seven were our party).
