Freedom of the Seas - Best Promenade View Interior Room?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Spouse and I are looking at Royal Caribbean for a cruise next year on the Freedom of the Seas out of San Juan. We have never been on RC before. We normally get balcony rooms, but we both saw on YouTube a video of a Promenade View Interior room. Any recommendations on which room(s) or deck(s) is best for this type of room? More forward or aft? We would ultimately like a decent view, not look out the windows and there be some huge sign or display obstructing the view.

Thanks as always.

Depends on how much you prefer the view over convenience. I like the deck 6 promenade rooms closest to aft elevators - very easy to walk down a floor to the promenade for a coffee but not the best views of the promenade.

The buffet and main dining are aft, and the fitness center, main theatre, and adult-only solarium are forward. The promenade rooms near the center have better views but it can feel like a long walk to the elevator or stairway at either end.

Deck 6 would be closest to the action if you are planning to view the parade from your room, but the least amount of privacy as people down at the promenade will be able to see into your room if drapes are open compared to if you were on deck 8.

The Ben and Jerry’s Sweet Suite is definitely worth trying for but totally competes against your objective of a view...as the view is directly of the cows butt! BUT - the promo gives you the same privileges to suite lounges/gold card access m that come with a traditional suite as well as daily Ben and Jerry’s!

...but definitely not the he view you are asking for!!
