Karencruiser43 Posted January 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Does anybody know if it is cheaper to purchase the soda card once you are at sea, rather than before you set sail? As I have heard they charge tax if they are purchased before you set sail. Going on Advenure of the Seas, does anybody know how much they are? Thanks! Merion_Mom Posted January 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2006 That is true when you sail out of Florida; I don't know what the sales tax laws are in Puerto Rico. The cost is $6 per day for adults. (18th birthday and older) $4 per day for pre-18th birthday. Must be purchased for the entire cruise. 15% gratuity charged up front. 6 x 7 = 42 + 15% = $48.30 4 x 7 = 28 + 15% = $32.20 single can of soda = $1.50 + 15% = $1.
