MTD question

We just recently booked for the 6/23 sailing on Harmony and apparently MTD is already full.  Our TA said she would keep an eye on our reservation to see if MTD opens up and she also said we could go chat with a dinning concierge when we board to see if we could get MTD.  Currently have 5:15pm (seems early) and the later seating is right during all of the shows.

What are the chances of actually being able to get MTD once onboard?  Has anyone been successful in doing that?

Thanks!

IMHO if MTD is full and you do not have the benefit of making your reservations online before cruising, getting a preferred reservation time on board may not be possible either. Past experience has reinforced making my reservations for MTD online ahead of time. If I could not, I would prefer a fixed seating.

If you have a small party, and you show up at the MTD desk early on boarding day, they should be able to accommodate you.

Did your travel agent put you on the MTD wait list?

She indicated there was no wait list for MTD.  Maybe that means the wait list is full as well?  We have a group of 6.

Then I would try to board as early as possible and get to the MTD desk.

We were on Symphony and had late dining. Had no problem seeing all the shows, some start as late as 10:15, comedy club shows were after 11:00.  Skipping desert shaves off 30 minutes, get late night desert in Promenade cafe and go sit outside the pub and listen to music. .

Sorry...should have mentioned, we have 2 kiddos (11 and 6) that would not make it to the late shows after spending a day on the beach, swimming, etc...
