Paradise Beach

I was reading somewhere about paradise beach in Cozumel. I was just wondering how many minutes it is from the port. My brother wants to go to a beach where the water is calm so he can float on a raft - is this the one. Also, what is the cost for the beach? I do know that the cost to get in is free and that they have great food. You might want to check out Ports of Call/Cozumel board, I know that Tom or Sally can give you the info you want.

It's about 10 minutes from the port. The taxi ride is $10 per taxi each way. It's a wonderful beach; we were there in January and we loved it. The floating mats and lounge chairs are free; free admission too. And the cleanest bathrooms! Highly recommend it.

I was there last week. The taxi is $12 each way. It is free admission. I would suggest getting there by 10:30am if you want a spot with an umbrella. It fills up fast. It was pretty calm waters and we loved it there. Have fun.
