chicchic325 Posted March 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2019 Has anyone does this tour from Montego Bay? I'm a bit worried about the drive (length and motion sickness inducing). Can't find any reviews or comments of people going on it.
72islandcruiser Posted March 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2019 It is quite a distance from port , depending on when you dock and when you are scheduled to leave, it's almost a 2 hour drive.
SimplyMarvie Posted March 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2019 It would be a very, very long day to be honest. It's a gorgeous tour and really interesting, but there's a good bit of walking around the distillery and the roads are not great -- lots of slowdowns and potholes. That said, it's a fascinating tour and a great look into some of the history of Jamaica. We lived there for several years, and it was one of my favorite things on the island. But if you're only marginally into Jamaica or rum or history, it might not be worth the schlep.
