Taxi cab from hotel to cruiseport

We have booked the Comfort Suites in Davie for our pre-cruise hotel. The hotels offers a free shuttle from the airport and also to Port Everglades the next morning. We cannot reserve a morning shuttle until we check in. I understand the shuttle gets booked quickly and there could be a bit of a wait. Since there are 12 of us, we may take taxis to Port Everglades if there is a long line.

Could anyone give us an educated estimate of the cost of taxi fare from Davie to Port Everglades - about 8-9 miles?
