I am looking at booking a Havana interior on Mardi Gras and see there are several square shaped interior cabins (#8295) and I am wondering what these cabins will be like. Roomier than traditional interior?Anyone have any thoughts/information on this?

We have 8288 booked for Feb. 2021. It is a square cabin also. Was wondering the same thing

On Mardi Gras, a Havana interior is slightly smaller, 158 square feet. On other ships Havana interiors are 185 square feet.

We also have one of these booked for next year, however up on Deck 10 midship.  Just wanted a less expensive room to take advantage of the ship features rather than the actual room like we usually do.  Actually stayed in a sideways interior on the Sunshine before and preferred the layout to the traditional inside rectangular shape.  Guess we will wait and see next year how we enjoy this one.  Since we had to re-book because of originally cancelled cruise this is probably the cheapest interior cabin we have ever booked, lol.  I will add we do like the location of the closets in this layout over the closet and bathroom doors banging into one another in the regular rectangular shape cabin.

I too would prefer a square shaped cabin.

Thanks for that updated version, I hadn't seen that yet.  Yes, now I am totally convinced that the square shaped cabin will be roomier than the modified traditional rectangular shaped ones.  Will have to wait just a lil longer now but will be worth the wait!
