Port of Miami Terminal A question.....

We are going to be going out of the new Terminal A on the Symphony soon.   Kind of interested to see the new state of the art terminal.  Now, here is the question for anyone who has been thru there recently.  

 

We are meeting up with friends who are driving in (they will be dropped off by the park and ride shuttle)...where is a good place to meet up in the terminal?   We are trying to do it before the check in area.

You could meet inside the terminal by the escalators which you need to take you to check-in.

You could meet at the top of the escalators or after check in there is a room with chairs etc which would be best as you would be out the way of other people and could sit if it was a while.

Actual check in is really quick if you have done everything on line - just a scan of your passes and you are done.
