Drop off location and times for NCL Epic tour Rome On You Own Rome

Does anyone know the drop off location for the NCL Epic excursion in Rome called "Rome On Your Own"?  Also the approximate number of hours you have in Rome and how long the bus ride is?  My excursion info says it starts at 8:00 and is 9 hours long but I'm trying to book some non-NCL tours in Rome and want to be able to fine tune my tour times.  Thanks!

as I understand it you want to book an NCL excurision to Rome and then meet up with a  non NCL tour company to explore Rome

 

why don't you book a non NCL/private tour to meet you at Civitiveccia dock and start tour from there

Hope you get a more reliable reply than mine....but here is our experience:

 

In 2008 on HAL we did a Rome transfer only.  Bus ride each way is about an hour.  Our drop off place was above the Spanish Steps.  Meet back at the bus time was about 4:30 -5:00pm.  But, no matter where you are left, you will be close to somethings and far from others....

 

We actually just returned last week from a week in Rome in an apartment.  What are you looking to book?  Maybe we can help further?
