Carnival Freedom Post Drydock?

we were on the march 23 cruise aboard the freedom and had a great time. I am reading the posts now and have only a few comments:

 

-we were outside on deck 4 for the muster drill.

-i was travelling with my 2 daughters and 4 grandkids. Between my daughters and i, we each had one of the three offered internet packages. Internet coverage was very spotty at best (which is not really a bad thing😃). This seems to be an area that Carnival could really improve on.

-The HUB app worked great for all of us and we were using the app on embarkation day. All of us enjoyed the features and reliability of the app.

-we had a balcony cabin (7373) with two twin beds. There was a lamp between the two beds with two usb ports on the lamp. I used one of the ports to charge my cellphone daily and it was nice to have.

I am wondering if you had one of the newly added staterooms since the other person didn't have any cabin updates.

Janice, other than new bedding our cabin did not seem to have been upgraded in anyway. The balcony railing still had paint splatterings from the the dry dock paint

I used the HUB app only for texting with others in our party and for seeing what was happening during each day, which i enjoyed quite a bit. Not sure if i could have pulled up photos
