Supper Club dining

Having read how great it is, I am looking forward to dining in the Supper Club on the Miracle. I have also read a few posts about how it makes for such a romantic evening. But my Mother will be along on this cruise and I don't want to exclude her from the experience. Will it be at all awkward for the three of us to dine there together? Thanks.

I don't think so at all. I've been in the
Supper Club on the Spirit and the Glory and have seen all different combinations of people. Couples, families, groups of people and so on. If it's not a problem for you...then don't worry about anyone else!
It's as romantic as you want it to be.
Go and have a great time! By the way...the Lobster Bisque is fabulous!
Happy Cruising!

It might be, I think that depends on you.

The room IS set up for a romantic evening and offers everything you need to have one. I'd imagine it would be difficult to make that happen with a third wheel there in the mix

On the other hand, we have done the supper clubs with our family of four and had a very nice, memorable evening. Not something you'll remember for the rest of your life as amazingly awesome but nice. It was not, however, a romantic evening in any way with the kids along, that would just have been way too wierd and out of place.

It will be good food, hopefully good service but it takes a long time so a party of three might have more to talk about than just two.

For some reason I have this picture of you two lovebirds oogling in each others eyes, propped up on your elbows, leaning closer and closer together. The lights are dim, the mood is right and then Mom chimes in right between the two of you about the spots on her fork.

Happy Cruising

Chris

Oh, don't worry about us. We'll get our chance for romance, Mom DOES have a separate cabin.

While I am sure your DW just adores her MIL I think she will probably love the experience much better without her there. I am sure you don't want to do every waking thing with her around. Perhaps this would be a great time for all concerned to have some time apart from each other. Mom is a grown woman and will do just fine doing an evening on her own.

For my money I'd take Mom along. We just returned from the Miracle and my wife and I...and our two teenage sons....celebrated our anniversary at Nick and Nora's and had a wonderful evening. It really was one of the highlights of the cruise. Heck, go once with Mom and once without.
