Why is Liberty still at dock?

We are sailing on Liberty soon, and are worried why Liberty is 3 hours late getting under way. Anyone have news?

We were wondering about that as well - we came by the Port around 5:45 on our way home from work and saw it was still docked.  We have our blinds open so we'll see it leave and I've been keeping an eye on the ship tracker but it shows it's still docked.

We just got off the Liberty this morning. We had a great cruise, no odd stuff that we are aware of. I have zero idea why it wouldn't have been able to leave yet.

She is leaving now, 9:15 local. Bon Voyage.

Could have been delayed because of the high winds yesterday. In January the winds were so strong they wouldn't let us board because the gangways are not safe in really high winds. I live about 2 hours North near the coast and I can tell you my weather station had gusts over 35 mph late yesterday afternoon.  Maybe someone on board will let us know.  Going on her again on the 31st so hope the winds are calmer!

I heard it was electrical and to do with the elevators.  I am leaving on the Liberty on Sunday.  SO I hope it is all cleared up by then.

Yeah, no wind here. We live on the beach a mile south of the shipping channel where the ships leave the port. We were at work earlier in the day but didn't have anything more than a light breeze in the evening.

Liberty was a few hours late getting into Nassau today.  Since she left over 4 hours late I guess she could not make up the time.  I will be interested to see if any one else on board reports what the issue was.

Where did you get the information about the elevators?  Hope it is cleared up too.
