we were just down the hall........................great balcony and good room location. The balcony is half open and half covered, very large.

We were in 601 last Sept/Oct and it was a very nice cabin. It was also almost mid ship so its nice and easy for accessing a lot of areas without having to go for long long walks....LOL. One suggestion, if you like to take coffee/tea back to your room, bring a couple of travelling mugs with you as there are no lids for the cups up in the buffet area. We were spoilt on the Navigator and the Disney Magic, their cups had lids so it was so much easier to transport hot drinks back to the cabin safely.

Is C601 and C603 on the sunny side of the ship? This is our first time cruising and we are so excited:D

Can't help you with the sunny side question...we sailed the North Atlantic last Sept/Oct and saw lots of waves,fog and did I mention waves??? (LOL)

Carol, it depends on, the weather, the time and the direction of the ship. I don't think one "side" is going to have more or less then another.
