jgbtait Posted March 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) On the Dream in a couple of weeks time. I would like to know where on the ship I can use my Electric Cigs. Hoping it's not just the designated smoking areas. Edited March 26, 2019 by jgbtait
Pensioncruiser Posted March 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) Just returned and it is only in designated areas which are the normal smoking areas, one side of the ship, waters edge and a few others but not in any eating areas. Maybe casino but not certain. You have some of the best entertainers we have seen in many years on Tui will give a report later. thommoscotland Posted March 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2019 It's not permitted in the Casino definitely just the designated smoking areas. There us a specific topic in their FAQs.
Rare Jim The Scot Posted March 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2019 Must have changed their policy then as e -cigs were being used/permitted in casinos and adjoining bars last year and it also states in the latest brochure that e-cigs can be used in casinos and adjoining bar areas on each of our ships as well as designated smoking areas I use an e-cig and was quite happy to go outside to the designated smoking areas
thommoscotland Posted March 26, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2019 From their FAQ's Can I smoke onboard? All our ships are non-smoking, which means you can only smoke in designated areas of the open deck. As for e-cigarettes, you can use these in the designated areas on deck. Please note, in the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Singapore e-cigarettes are banned and will be confiscated at the airport.

Yes not disputing that thommo but the brochure contradicts that.Cant say for certain but the FAQ,s said the same last year yet that was not the case as ecigs were being used quite openly in the casino and adjoining bars. There no point in jg phoning TUI/Marella eith on the issue cause they wont have a scooby either 😁 TUI/ Marella doesn,t have a good record on clarity.Previously they couldn,t give clarity on what the hand luggage allowance Was for cruisers Edited March 26, 2019 by Jim The Scot
