24 hr food other than room service

We will be taking our first trip on RCC in May.

On Carnival they have 24hr pizza which is nice when you leave the casino late and want a bite. I was wondering if RCC has anything available other than room service?

Vison class have the Solarium that starts serving Hamburgers,Pizza ,Nacho's,

Fries,Chili at 11pm.. (maybe midnight?) Sometimes they mix it up..Like,no chili or something like that...

Radiance class have the Seaview cafe right? ...Not sure of their hours..

I loved the Promanade Cafe...Me & DS would sneak down in the wee hours...Sometimes in our Pjs (gasp) for a pizza cookie & coke run!

Also a quick place to run to for lunch in port...(if you are docked) Not really worth the return if you have to tender..

We will be taking our first cruise over Spring Break in March on VOS. My sons are wondering about soft serve ice cream. Do they have that on VOS, and what are the hours it's available? Thanks for the info on the pizza. That was another concern of theirs (pizza, arcade, and ice cream is all they are concerned about!)

I am not a big fan of ice cream but from what I have seen it is usually available during the afternoon. If it is a Voyager class ship they have it on the Promanade but not all the time.

I must admit in all the cruises we have done I have yet to even taste the ice cream.

Pizza on the other hand....I have at least twice a day. Once in the afternoon and once at around 3am from room service when it's on the room service menu. Your kids will LOVE room service. I know mine do. They think it's cool to be able to order for "free". Just make sure they have tip money :)

UNFORTUNATELY, I've always found someplace to get food.

ROFL...while I agree...the key is to skip breakfast and sit in the sauna once a day after you take the stairs everytime you need to go somewhere.

:) I can't wait to walk up 10 flights of stairs to get pizza a week from now!

LOL

Yes, I'll walk 10 flights of stairs for pizza! Amazing I'll complain everytime I feel like I 'should' be going to the gym. But get me on a boat and tell me where the food is and I'll walk the mile there and up 10 flights of sairs!

For the nite owls like myself, Vision set up coffee, tea, danish and dounuts on the pool deck each night. After about 1:00 AM, your out of luck as far as staple foods. Room service was my answer when I needed a bite to eat late night. Sorry, but thats about it.

Ice Cream was always available on Vision when I went to grab a bowl. It's set up on the pool deck, port side just outside of the Windjammers door. As for the arcade. I found myself there 4 out of the 7 nights playing Pacman. It stay's open ALL night. But be forwarned. The cost per play is about $1.50.

Actually on most of the Voyager class ships, the free ice cream has been moved up to pool deck, just outside the Windjammer. They still have Ben and Jerry's (pay) on the Promenade though.
