Spending my tax refund on a cruise!

I am so happy today. Finally got my tax refund. We booked our cruise last month when we knew it was coming. Thank you Uncle Sam for our next cruise on the Glory in November. Now I have to be disciplined and pay off the cruise instead of spending the money.

That is exactly what we did!

 

We were going to "do our floors" in our house this year....

 

BUT>> the mortgate rates dropped again.. so we refinanced with the extra 5000 in the mortgage.. and spend the 4000.00 tax refund on our Cruise!!

 

I got our check on Friday.. whoo hoo!

Me too, I got the tax refund deposited today and I will go on Thurs to put my credit card payment down!!!!

 

At least I am doing as Pres. Bush wants putting it back into the economy!!!!

BTW Stlrboo, congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. I, too, married my best friend and we are celebrating 4 incredible years of marriage 5/13. We are planning to take a second honeymoon cruise (sans kids) for our 5th. We did the Paradise for our honeymoon and it was awesome. My daughter was conceived either during or right after a cruise on Sovereign of the Seas. My oldest son is already a veteran cruiser, having cruised 10 times (more than me thanks to his Nana & Papa! )

Uncle Sam is taking about $3,400 more on April 15th, but he didn't get it all! We are still cruising this summer.

 

I can't comprehend having a huge refund. You folks are simply not making enough...
