You can go to the bathroom but the tour won't wait for you.

We always go to guest services first to request a fan.

We had a bathroom break halfway in to ours.

We got a bathroom break too.   Also they had 3 different groups of 15-20 people on our cruise.   Our group started first, the second group about 15 minutes after ours and then the last group.

Most certainly this is the "Behind the Scenes" tour which is only available once onboard and very limited.
