Early check in Post Cruise Hotels?

We would like to spend the night in Miami after our cruise (better airfare for flying out next day). However, our concern is that most hotels have a 3:00pm check in. What do we do with our luggage all day if we get off the ship by 10:00am? Does anyone know of a hotel in the port area that allows you to check in around 10-11am?

Virtually all hotels have a "check-in" time of 3pm or so... HOWEVER if they have rooms ready earlier you can get one. I've never had a problem getting a room in the morning hours. Simply request early check-in, and yes, any decent hotel will hold your bags if they don't have a room ready when you get there, then put them in the room when it is ready.
