Hawaii pre-cruise lodging

Can anyone suggest a good hotel in Honolulu(sp?) for a pre-cruise night? It looks as though RCCL uses 3 inparticular-a Hyatt, a Hilton and the Royal Pacific? Is one any better than the other-location and quality wise? What are the "must sees" for honolulu? Thanks!! We're planning this 11 night cruise on the Serenade as our second honeymoon. We aren't leaving until Oct. 5th so we have time to get the details right.
