Great tour!

We were in Havana for two nights & one full day.  I booked a full day tour with Rodrigo, owner of www.havanainsights.com.

We could not have made a better choice!  His English is perfect & his knowledge is outstanding.  We met him in a park near the port (we supplied a photo

of ourselves & he sent one of himself so we wouldn't miss meeting up).  Rodrigo will personalize your tour to whatever you desire.  We were interested in

the history of Cuba, so that is what he geared ours toward.  We started with a four hour walking tour of Havana.  Then we hopped into one of Havana's famous vintage convertibles for a two hour drive into the outer areas to see 'Embassy Row', parks, points of interest (such as Government House, The Revolution monument, a tour of the famous Malecón, the old Fort). 

Rodrigo took us to lunch at a quaint little backyard restaurant where we ate wonderful cuban food, drank cuba libres while listening to live music!!  

He even gave us menu recommendations.

We walked from the restaurant to the Statue of Jesus where we had great views of the harbour.  Then we went down the hill to get to the local ferry that

crosses back over to central Havana.

We visited the famous market (best place to get cuban souvenirs), walked a little down the waterfront to get some yummy ice cream (where else could you get 2 servings of ice cream for $1.80! )

Then a short walk back to our ship.

If you're interested in having a guide who is knowledgeable, speaks perfect English & has a great sense of humour...Rodrigo's your man!
