shells418 Posted April 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Does anyone know if the times on the itinerary are EST or in the local island time? I called Carnival three times and got three different answers! Also, I heard that the Paradise is the only Carnival ship that keeps the local time (instead of staying on EST the entire time) If you have sailed on this ship before this year please let me know! ljrfrm Posted April 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2004 I too am sailing on the Paradise in June. I was told they stay on EST, but I could be wrong. I would love to know the answer to this question. I know there are several people that just sailed Paradise...hopefully, they'll know the answer. CabinForFour Posted April 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2004 We sailed the Paradise last month, and the ship's time does NOT change with the time zones. Many of the local tour operators operated on local time (so be sure to clarify the exact time if you book your own tours), but the ship's time never changes. babs275 Posted April 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Do you recall what the time difference between ship time and Cozumel time was? According to the itinerary we get there at 1:00 so I booked a Royal Dolphin Swim at 3:30 to be safe. Will that be ok? VanessaC322 Posted April 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I was on Paradise Western Itinerary in March and Cozumel, Belize and Roatan are the same as US Central Time so they are 1 hour behind ship(aka Miami) time. Grand Cayman is the same as ship time. Paradise 3/
