From what I have read, Pier B is at the Hilton Marina, an easy walk to Mallory Square and Duvall St.

I was on the Miracle 3/1 and we docked outside the Naval base and had to be shuttled back and forth. The driver stated that Carnival either owns or has specific rights to just that dock....hope that helps. We were not allowed to walk.

AmyinVail,

There are 3 docks in Key West. Mallory Square dock is to small for many ships including the Carnival Miracle. That leaves only 2 docks it can choose, Outer Mole (Naval base) & Pier B.

The Miracle was (is) scheduled in 2004 to dock at the Outer Mole (Naval base) beginning 3/3 through 4/28 (3/3, 3/17, 4/14, 4/28), and beginning 5/5 through 6/2 it is scheduled to dock at Pier B (5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2). In addition, beginning again in 9/15 through 9/29 (9/15, 9/22, 2/29) the Miracle is scheduled to dock at Pier B, also.

Note that during the days when the Miracle is docked from 3/3 through 9/29, there is no ship docked in the 2nd of the two docks which it can use, so when it is docked at the Outer Mole, no other ship is docked at Pier B, and when it is docked at Pier B, no other ship is docked at the Outer Mole. In both cases, it appears it wasn't forced to choose it because another ship already had the other dock scheduled.

This information is in the keywestcity.com port schedule. Hope that helps.
