New Years Eve Cruise?

Has anyone ever taken a New Years cruise? We are thinking about taking one, but we're not sure if its a good idea and what the best itinerary is.

We did the Mexican Riveria some years ago ('91) Party was great New Year's Eve. They filled the aft pool with balloons and released them at midnight. :)

 

We were in Puerto Vallarta New Years Day which is a holiday and a religious holiday for Catholics, so everything was closed..:mad:
