Specialty Dinning with Third Guest Question

We have a cabin with three people in our cabin.  If we select the perk with the free dinning, I know it is only for the first two people in our room.  However, if all three of us dine at one of the ala carte specialty restaurants, can we just use the free dinning for the two of us, and then have the third person only order one item off the menu, or even just have the three of us share the two meals at a place like the Q? I wasn't sure if they were strict if the third person doesn't order much, or doesn't even order at all.

Thanks for your help.

Dining credit can't be shared with third person, but he or she will only be charged (plus service charge) for what he or she orders and eats in an a la carte restaurant.  In a one-fee restaurant, he or she will be charged that fee.
