Thank you

I would like to say; “Thank You” to the hosts here at cruise critic. I know that their job is a hard one and that the compensation package is not nearly enough to adequately support their cruising desires.

Now I also know that some of you hark back to the good old days when the hosts were much more formal. White gloves, Gowns, Tuxedos and the like were the rules of the day and now the hosts are much more causal. I’ve heard they frequently wear t-shirts and shorts when carrying out their duties; this is fine with me. I do appreciate that the hosts are well known for washing their hands or at least using sanitizer prior to deleting my posts.

Now some will object, they are sure that if we could travel back in time, hosts could be better, stronger and yes, faster; as you know, we have the technology. But, I say whatever the times, these faceless people we all know as hosts deserve a hardy Thank You.
