Costa & smoking?

We heard there is a LOT of smoking on Costa. Is there or is it like the other ships? This has kept us from even considering cruising on Costa. On NCL Majesty, smoking couple were shown no smoking sign on the starboard side of ship and moved when asked! There wasn't even lot of smoke in casino or disco! We're former smokers but can't stand smell now!

Costa tends to attract many more Europeans than any other cruise line, and they do smoke more than Americans. A friend just returned from a Costa cruise and he said there was much more smoke than any other line he's been on.
