TWA Hotel opens at JFK

While not a Cunard topic, per se, there have been so many questions for years about hotels near JFK for crossings (in short - there were no really good choices) - I thought this article on the new TWA Hotel, built around the iconic Eero Saarinen TWA terminal, might be of interest. (...Especially with intro room rates of $215/night.)

The opening was covered on our local news last night. I hate flying out of JFK because it's a long drive compared to Newark, but I really want to stay in that hotel. Partly because I love to see "adaptive reuse" of buildings and partly because my very first flight to England was on TWA, departing from that terminal.
