I booked a balcony on Joy going to Alaska, I got a cabin on Port side. Is this good or bad. Looks like Starboard is better for the views. Your experience? Do I change to Starboard.? Seems when you leave, all the scenery is on starboard side. Help

Port side is better on Glacier watching day.

Yes, but when you come back, all that same scenery will be on the port side...
Actually it wont, it travels out to sea on way back. And rarely do both sides see the same thing...ie backtracking.

I've been on both sides and starboard is definitely the better side. You're still going to see gorgeous scenery on the port side but having had port side last time (after two starboard) we booked the starboard for our upcoming cruise. But could be my preference.
