Grand Circle/Oattravel Nile Egypt Cruises

Has anyone ever taken one of these very small ship cruises down the Nile?

 

They have 15 day trips which combine land and a river cruise on one of two ships--M/S River Anukel or the M/S Nile Stephanie.

 

These are advertised as senior adventure cruises and the prices are very reasonable.

You may be on the same cruise as our friends. They are going on this one in late April, as a way of reuniting after three months of her DH being in Afghanistan.If this is the cruise that goes to Luxor and Cairo?

Take a look at the River Cruises board in the Special Interest Cruises section of Cruise Critic. There are lots and lots of posts about GCT Egypt cruises there. I haven't been on one, but it sounds like people really liked the GCT Nile cruises.

I took the trip in February on the Stephanie. IT WAS GREAT! Been on lots of large cruise ships, our first river cruise. Very well organized. Our guide was the best! Had a degree in Egyptology.
