Taxi's at the port

Are there taxi's readily available at the port to get to the airport?

We will be one of the last off the ship, as we have a late afternoon flight.

Is it a far walk to grab a taxi with all your luggage?

How much does a cab cost from the port to the airport?

Thoroughfare from airport to port: too much traffic/dangerous to walk!

Take Bus Routes 1 & 40, stop at the Northport terminal

and voila, you're there! All for $2.00!!!

There will be tons of taxi's at the port and the ride to the airport or from the airport is about $18.....not worth trying to walk it

Oh my goodness, you can't walk from Port Everglades to the Ft. Lauderdale airport!!! Please take a taxi - there will be plenty, not to worry. It's not that much money.

Tazsmom...LOL After reading my above post, I started laughing. I didn't mean walk to the airport, I meant is it a far walk to get to the taxi stand at the port with all the luggage LOL

 

Or is it easier to just get Costa's transportation.

LOL! Glad to hear that! Probably take you 3 hours to walk LOL!. Since FLL is so close, it's quicker and easier to do a taxi. With the cruise lines xfrs, you have to wait for the bus to get loaded up, people & baggage. There is a taxi line only yards from the building. It's literally 10 min drive to airport.

Understanding you have lugguges, so the best way is to take a taxi or shuttle from pier.

If you have no lugguge, it is still a long walk to get airport, but not impossible. Since you have lugguges, forget it.
