Pride ?-What is the temp like on sea days?

We are thinking of going on the Pride in the beginning of June. I have read a lot of reviews & people are saying that the days @ sea are cold. How cold can we expect it to be? I know once we get to the ports, it's going to be hot (love the heat), but I'm just a little concerned about the temp when we're @ sea, since I hate being cold. Thanks for your help.

No, not any better in June. We went June 11th last year and I wore shorts and a T-shirt with a light sweater. I wished I had on jeans and a sweatshirt. We were having the June gloom weather, overcast and about 70-75 onshore. The sea days are definately cold. (and very windy)

I agree with the above posters. We sailed over the 4th of July last year. I had to wear a sweatshirt when out on deck in the evenings.

Dampened the cruise experience for me. Back to the carribbean for me. If I ever decide to go back to western Mexico, I'm flying.

Thank you all for your input...I think we made up our minds & will not be going on the Pride because of the cool weather @ sea days. I think I'm better off sticking with the caribbean cruises. I like it "hot hot hot"!! Thanks again! Happy sailing everyone!

I went in early March last year. The first FULL day at sea was chilly, I wore a jacket. Later in the afternoon, I did put my swim suit on and as long as the sun was on me, it was only moderately goose bump producing. However, the next day as we got closer to Puerto Villarta, it got warmer and I had even less goose bumps in my swimsuit by the pool. The sun was warm, the breeze a little cool. The next day in Puerto Villarta- HOT, Mazatlan- HOT, Cabo- HOT, HOT, HOT! Burned very quickly. The last day at sea, COLD, COLD and cloudy, and windy, and very wavy. But when I look back I still think of good weather.

My Dad did the Pride in Late January last year. His days at sea were COLD.
