Kelli0927 Posted May 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2019 Does the ship offer any fresh Alaskan seafood during these Alaskan cruises? Is the MDR and specialty menu the same or similar to the Caribbean cruises? I can't seem to find any recent radiance menus.
Eriksgarden Posted June 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2019 I'm hoping it offers some fresh local fare. We are going in 2 months.
Rare OCSC Mike Posted June 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2019 Nothing local last June. Same as the Caribbean more or less.

steveru621 Posted June 1, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 1, 2019 They did try a few years ago in Rita's Crab Shack (closed). We went twice on Radiance, but I don't remember anything specifically marked as local.

Also, cannot recommend a land portion for as long and involved as you can manage/afford. We spent 10 days DIY traveling from Fairbanks to Seward before our Southbound cruise and I tried to eat as much seafood as possible. Also had "reindeer sausage" (it's really caribou) several times... in an omelet, on the side at another breakfast, on a pizza twice, etc.
