Has anybody been to Moody gardens? Is it worth going to see the rainforest pyramid.? How do you get there from the cruise terminal?  Any information  on this will help. Can't decide if we want to go there after our cruise.

Moody Gardens along with other many  tourist destinations are worth it . Do you have a car or flying out ?

We go 1-2 times a year to Moody Gardens as we live in Houston. My 5 year old daughter loves it. The aquarium pyramid is amazing, even more so after the remodel they finished last year. There is lots to do there, even more so if your here during the Christmas season. I would highly recommend it.

Howdy @miss tea and welcome to Texas & Galveston Island! 😊

To have a "look-see" before you get to Galveston Island, check out all the various video webcams at https://www.galveston.com/webcams/.

On cruise ship turn-around days, watching your ship leave the dock at https://www.galveston.com/cruisevideocam/ and then going on out to the Gulf at https://www.galveston.com/emeraldvideocam/ can be fun.

Since you have a special interest in Moody Gardens, you might want to check out the following:

PENGUIN VIDEO CAM https://www.galveston.com/penguinvideocam/

PYRAMID VIDEO CAM https://www.galveston.com/pyramidvideocam/

RAINFOREST VIDEO CAM https://www.galveston.com/rainforestvideocam/

SEAL VIDEO CAM https://www.galveston.com/sealvideocam/

Also, please remember there are lots of things to do at Moody Gardens other than the Rainforest Pyramid. As @ssb says above, you CAN spend two days there!

Hope you enjoy your cruise and your visit to Texas!
