soundman10f Posted June 6, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2019 We go 1-2 times a year to Moody Gardens as we live in Houston. My 5 year old daughter loves it. The aquarium pyramid is amazing, even more so after the remodel they finished last year. There is lots to do there, even more so if your here during the Christmas season. I would highly recommend it. There are many things near the port also . Bryan Museum, Bishops Palace , Moody Mansion , Elissa TallShip , Railroad Museum , Energy Industry Oil Rig Museum , La Kings Confectioners. , Pier 21 , Old Town Strand , Maritime Museum with 3 Short documentary films 1900 Great Storm , Galveston the immigration city of the south, Pirate Jean Lafitte , 1894 Grand Opera House , and other tours .
