Amsterdam Tourist Tax

Just had an email informing us of the Amsterdam Tourist Tax which will apply to our cruise in the Autumn.  Unlike some other cruise companies, Tui have adopted a pragmatic approach and will bill each passenger 8 Euro to their on board account.  In the context of the cost of a cruise, I will happily pay the charge (without complaint) as the alternatives - a change of port or shuttling in from Ijmuden, rather than a berthing in the city would have been very disappointing indeed.  Good decision!

Yes!  Are you on it too Dave?   They've also swapped Akureyri and Reykjavik calls - still going but in reverse order.

No I will be on Explorer in July and Explorer 2 in October. I just looked at the Marella site and the Newcastle to Southampton cruise calls at Ijmuiden
