Brooklyn Cruise Terminal Parking

There is limited long term parking at the terminal, however what if there is no availability? 

Anyone have alternate parking suggestions near the Brooklyn Terminal?

We have parked in Manhattan at the cruise terminal many times - arriving around 11 a.m. - and never had a problem getting a parking spot.  On that note, looking at the photo of the Brooklyn terminal parking -- their lot looks much bigger, but also much further to walk.  It's our first time out of Brooklyn, and we plan on getting there by 11 a.m.  I'm not worried about getting a spot.

Does American Queen dock at the Brooklyn terminal in Red Hook,Brooklyn?

Have used this terminal for Princess cruises,but surprised a question about it is on the American Queen forum. 

Just curious.
