Skipper's Club in Miami?

Carnival website shows NO 'Skippers Club' in Miami. I would think that being an older port, they of all ports would have the accomodation.

We took an upgrade and need new baggage tags.. thought this may be a help, but I may be past that area by the time I get to final check-in!

My memory is fading.. icon_eek.gif

Last time I was there they had a nice little room for the Skippers Club people to go into for check-in- I hadn't heard of it changing at all.

They had a Skippers club right inside the door 12/01. Don't know any more recent. However, can get new tags from the porter at the pier when you drop your luggage before you go to terminal to check in. Thats how us TBA cabins do it.

Skippers Club is just inside the terminal building. You will have already handed your luggage off to the stevedores by then, the pier porters will have new baggage tags for you.

I used the Skippers Club last month in Miami. It is just inside the door on your left. Look for the sign.

By the way, I would have been faster to go through the regular check-in. Once the Skippers Club rep checks you in, you are then placed in the room with everyone else for boarding.. No more priority boarding in Miami was what I was told due to security reasons. Did not make a lot of sense to me but it seems Carnival has a different term for the Skippers Club by port.

I would insist on it. It's one of the only benefits you get for booking a Category 11 or 12 cabin. You should be at the front of the line.

Good luck. I was told by Carnival Guest Relations that the Skippers Club no longer entitled one to priority boarding. I really think it depends on the port. Pt. Canaveral is awesome. I have used it there both times. FLL and Miami did not have a clue.

thanks for the input! I was just curious, as the new website showed six or seven ports that had a Skippers Club sign-in, but amazingly enough, Miami wasn't one of them.

Guess I'll find out on Saturday.. at least I know which direction to go! icon_wink.gif
