CarnivalLOU Posted June 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Hello cruise critic, I need everyone's help which is the best beach in Curacao and why? Someone told me Blue Bay is good for kids but when I look at pictures, Mambo beach looks like it has more going on. I have three kids ages 2,4, 6, and 7 adults in my group. I want to go to the best beach for everyone, your assistance is greatly appreciated.
purplephenom Posted June 10, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Blue Bay is good for kids because it's a protected cove so the water by the shore is a good place to play for the littlest ones. For adults, the snorkeling is good at Blue Bay (from what I've read, better than Mambo). Bathrooms are clean and food is decent. But it really is just a beach area, so it is pretty low key. Mambo has more fun stuff going on- music, people watching, etc, but this seems to make it more crowded. You really can't go wrong, it just depends what you feel like. The "best" beaches are probably neither of these- and are further away from the cruise terminal. They look absolutely amazing, and this was a battle I had with myself before visiting Curacao. In the end, I decided there was value to staying closer to the port area, versus finding the best beach- because really, I've never found a bad Caribbean beach.
