biojeep Posted June 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Looking for hotel recommendations for 2 night pre New England cruise. Seems like hotels are quite expensive. Would probably prefer near cruise terminal or Faneuil hall area.

Sometimes the best deals for good hotels are blind hotels on Hotwire in the Seaport District.

138east Posted June 10, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Ok - that’s next week. At this point I would book an unnamed hotel on Hotwire in the Seaport District, which is close to the port and has access to the Silverline to go into South Station for a transfer to the Red Line. All the hotels in the Seaport area are relatively new. If you can roll your luggage at all, you can take the Silver Line from your terminal (free from the airport) to World Trade Center. From there you can walk to your hotel or take a quick cheap Uber. I’m seeing a 4* hotel for $174 plus tax, a 3* for $148 plus tax, and a 3.5* hotel for $163 plus tax (this could be the Yotel). There are really no bad properties in the Seaport District. If you choose to go this route, post back for more specific transportation details. The Yotel is right at the Courthouse Silver Line stop.
