photos of the s.s. ROTTERDAM

Recommended Posts

I have received some photos of the s.s. Rotterdam, painted in her original

dove-grey hull with yellow stripe.

With permission of the source, I have placed them on my website.

The Rotterdam looks really good...like new!

If she is in such good shape, why can't she sail on her own power rather than be towed? I mean she did not have any fires or explosions that caused damage...please advise:confused:

One of her boilers is out of order. While she will never sail again, towing is cheaper than repairing and obtaining all licences for only one or two voyages.
