wvdleek Posted January 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2006 I have received some photos of the s.s. Rotterdam, painted in her original dove-grey hull with yellow stripe. With permission of the source, I have placed them on my website. = = = Met vriendelijke groeten / With kind regards Willem H. van der Leek "It's good to see a well-run site!" http://www.vdleek.nl
Mark Posted January 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2006 The Rotterdam looks really good...like new! If she is in such good shape, why can't she sail on her own power rather than be towed? I mean she did not have any fires or explosions that caused damage...please advise:confused:

While she will never sail again, towing is cheaper than repairing and obtaining all licences for only one or two voyages.
