Another internet question for recent cruisers please

My understanding from all the responses now is that at this point it's consistent across the entire fleet that there are the three plans. The cost will depend on the length of the cruise, with daily being $25 for 24 hours.  You can definitely wait until on board to purchase, although if you think you want the premium plan, a lot of people are reporting that the website offers a discount on that if pre-purchased, but only on the premium.  I am pretty sure I will only need the "surf" plan, and my friends who are on Zuiderdam at the moment report that WhatsApp and Skype work fine with Surf.
